Building new PC

I'm hung up on whether to go w/ Intels x48, or x58. Their both similiar in price ranges for boards and cpu's if your talking core 2 quad, or extreme/ icore7. What to do?

X48 is senseless, go with either P45 for a cheaper platform or X58. If you want help choosing your components fill out this template and you will get help:
