Hi
Need to get a burner for work. Looking at 24x -- LG or Plexstor. LG is much cheaper but I have the 16X at home and it has worked flawlessly for about a hunderd or so burns now. So should I bother with the plexstor -- are there any issues I don't know that I should consider.

Thanks
Patrick

If you want low cost for a good product, go for a Lite-on. If you want top quality, go for a Plextor.

Plextor and Yamaha are two top notch writers. Nevertheless, LG offers respectable performance.

Just a word of caution...make sure the drive is supported by the software you have/intend to get. Easy CD appears not to support a lot of the latest 32x drives. Not sure about Nero, but be warned.
