Buy a 2060 Laptop or wait for 3060?

Am in the market for a new Gaming Laptop, I am restricted to a laptop because I have no room for a desk etc.

I have been looking at a laptop with preferably a rtx 2060 but I am wondering if it would be worth waiting for laptops with the newer gpus and the rumoured rtx 3060 ?

However I am in 2 minds about this because I realise the performance gap between laptop gpus is much smaller than their desktop equivalents and also because those laptops might not actually be for sale for at least 6 months.

Any opinion welcomed cheers

We expect the 3060 to be a big jump, but as you mentioned, it will probably be around 6 or more months until those launch, and probably even longer for any "good" laptops to launch with it.

I think if you don't have a useable computer right now, you should buy it, but if you have a laptop that can kinda almost do the job for now, i'd suggest waiting.
