Hi guys!
A few months ago I grabbed a MSI Duke GTX 1070 ti and put it on my old ascrock H61M-VS3 + Intel i7 3770k machine.
I can pretty much run all the games I want and do Photoshop, After Effects/Premiere@1080p with no problem.

Recently I noticed that the PCIe lock on my MOBO is broken and the GPU is a bit sagging. (Although I have put a cardboard under it to support it a bit.) I also do not have USB 3 on the board which is annoying.

I was thinking of buying a LGA 1155 Z77 board and even OCing my current CPU + getting access to sweet USB 3.0 and also front USB 3.0 headers.
I can also sell my MOBO+CPU and get a cheap H310 board + i3 9100f, although Im unsure if I could upgrade from that 9100f in a while and its 4 thread worries me in productivity...

What would you do if you were in my place?

Z77 would allow you to overclock, yes but the upgrade would be horizontal not vertical. I'd ask you to look into a new platform and retire the current system, since you can do a lot more for less power draw. Speaking of power draw, what is the make and model of your PSU and it's age?

It is a known PSU brand in my country and many people use it.
It is a 580 watt Bronze 80 PSU

If I was married I would use situation as perfect excuse to upgrade. I doubt that 9100f would be much better than 3770k for work. Those 4 missing threads are going to be missed.
Don't forget you'd need DDR4 too.
Take a look at new Ryzen platform, almost anything would be better and possibly cheaper with better upgradeability.
