Hi,
First time I've asked anything on here, but its been very useful for various answers
I recently upgraded my 500gb Seagate barracuda hdd to a 240gb sandisk ssd (there was plenty of space with the hdd).
I reinstalled windows, moved my files over and a few important programs like chrome and such; restarted and expected all to work well.
The 'cache manager' bsod appeared as soon as I booted up, and I wondered what was wrong. Initially, after looking it up, I checked my ram to see if that was the problem, but it was all fine. I used the windows 10 install on the Seagate drive to check if it booted up. It booted up. So I assume its not a problem with my hardware. When I reinstalled the ssd, but booted to the hdd, it came up with the same bsod again. Since I wasn't booting from the ssd, I was confused. I tried to use a win 10 install drive to attempt to reinstall windows on the ssd, but it again came up with the bsod. I know this is going to sound stupid, but I haven't made a recent backup, so I've got files from a couple of months ago and longer, but none from recently. Is there any way for me to 1) recover my files or 2) reinstall windows and forfeit the files. They would be useful to recover, but not essential.
Thanks for taking the time to look and I hope someone can help!
