Here is my set up
Asus a7v
1 gig t-bird
256 meg pc133
fop32 sanded with AS2 and extra fan on top

My cpu is running at 1200 12x100 no prob at 42*c everything I do to get over 1250 and my puter either does not boot or will not shut down or frezzes. It also has problems when I go over 1.75 volts?? L1 bridges are unlocked with a pencil. My temps are low but if go over 12x104 it doesn’t work but I can get up to around 112 fsb at 11x. any ideas? Has anyone got there t-bird 1gig over 1250 with a a7v?
Thanks

I think the general rule is fsb over clock. Try lowering your multiplier down a bit and see how high the fsb can go.

After decades, computers are still not affordable to all…

Ok ok... i really don't know... it's just from what i've heard...but i don't think it should go EASLY to 133Mhz since if it would be, then there was no sense (appart from the comercial) to do the KT133A...

What did you do to the KT133 G1? You didn't do watercooling did you *shrug* ?

well i have gotten it at 133 but it was unstable (this was before i fried it btw), so i had it at 120x9.5

120x9.5 is still only 1140 but thanks for the input griz, has any got a 1 gig higher than 1.25 gig?? I can’t get this damn thing over 1.25 and it is really pissing me off. It runs at 12x100 totally stable and @ 41*c but it crashes and burns at over 1.25 is that the max my chip will go?

it might be your cooling, or your voltage. if you did the voltage mod and upped it to 1.9v or maybe 2.0v then you could probably get it stable at 12.5 or even higher.
