I am thinking about getting a 1050 TI but don't know if my PSU is compatible with my power supply its a
Apevia CAPTAIN550 ATX Power Supply with All Black Cables
and i dont know if it can support a 1050ti

Solution
Yup. Technically compatible, but the PSU is horrible quality and with even a 1050 Ti relatively expensive at the moment, I wouldn't want to saddle it to a cheaply-made, group-regulated PSU that's basically designed for office PCs from 1999.
The wattage is sufficient, but the quality is doubtful. Not sure how good it is, I couldn't find any reviews of this unit. Get a better quality PSU if you can...

550w is more than enough for a 1050ti. 550w will support up to 1070 if I'm not wrong.

However get a better PSU, never cut corners on this component.

Agreed with all of the above about only using power supplies of the best quality. It's the one component that can literally destroy every other component in your system if something goes wrong. As for the 1050Ti, does the card you want require external power? Not all of them do. My Zotac 1050Ti has no external connector, and has a decent factory overclock. You can keep the power demand down by trying to get one without the external power connector. It will never draw more than 75W from the PCIe slot.
