RAM is for laptops and won't fit a desktop.

Motherboard is too large for the chassis. ATX to fit in a Micro ATX chassis.

Motherboard is very nice, but more than you need for a i5-9400.

GPU is a little dated, there are better options out there. Such as the GTX1650 which would be comparable in price and performance, but newer.

What is your total budget? Some of the people here can certainly give you a better build suggestion. If not I'll provide a build in an hour or two, heading out to lunch in a moment.

That ram is laptop memory, it will not work with a desktop motherboard.
That motherboard is too big and overkill for what you need. You need a Matx board.

Here are a few suggestions to better spend your money:
The AMD RX570 is about the same price as the GTX 1050ti, however, the AMD RX570 performs significantly better. It does consume more power, but your power supply can take this.

The I5 9400f is cheaper and performs identically when using discrete graphics (like a 1050ti)

You could buy a cheaper B365 motherboard for that system with little issues.

Whats your budget?

For most games a GTX 1050Ti would do fine and get big FPS numbers in esports games on 1080p resolution howevr it would mayb struggle a bit on high demanding games but aslong as you are pairing your PC with a 1080p monitor it wouldn't be so terrible.

If you are planning on upgrading your gear later one I would suggest buying a larger case since you can place bigger sized AIO coolers which tend to cool you CPU better than air cooleers (although there are air coolers that are sometimes better than some of the good AIO coolers and even cheaper but it depends on you whether you are on a such enthusiasm). Smaller sized cases tend to have not as btter airflow as on ther larger ones which can lead to better cooling but it's only 4 degrees difference probably.

If you are planning on buying a i5-9400 I would suggest to buy RAM with at least 3000mhz ram speed and above.

I would also recommend on getting a HDD aswell if you want your system to have an SSD, so you can install Windows on your SSD and the other stuff into your HDD since 500 GB won't be enough to store all the games and etc. 1 TB storage for a HDD is fairly enough.

My budget is around $650-800

In case you needed to include the OS in your price. Dropped down to the Ryzen 2600 which is on a very good sale right now. Had to drop down a little on the storage and went for a full size ATX board and case. Also switched to a case that has two included fans.

Getting that 1TB SSD is tempting though, so if you don't think you need as much graphics horsepower you could drop down to the RX570, RX580, or even RX590 (all seem to be quite low priced at the moment)

and why is that? intel is totally fine even with ddr4 base clock 2133
With that kind of CPU I personally would go with a faster RAM. In his case I don't know if he will overclock his system (which I don't believe since he doesn't know well about PCs) but it's kind of standard when getting a 8 gen CPU or newer to get at least 3000mhz due to slight increased speed in my opinion even if not overclocking.

A reasonable motherboard for that chip will limit you to 2666.
