Can connecting my computer from HDMI cable to DVI into the monitor slow down perfomance?

Title, I am using an HDMI cable FROM the computer and DVI INTO the monitor.
Basically an HDMI to DVI cable.

if its just a normal 1080p 60hz monitor and the computer specs are capable at said resolutions then, no.

As long as you're not expecting 4k 60, you should be fine.
