Why is buying what I want so difficult? I move a lot of files around and I want speed. I am willing to pay for a fast SSD to make my life easier, but I do not want to do the install myself ( I have read that some people had problems that I prefer not to spend time dealing with) and would prefer instead to buy what I want and have it work out of the box. I want the Samsung 970 EVO plus ssd because it seems to be the fastest. Can I buy this pre-installed somehow? I want a really fast CPU and at least 16 gb ram. I do not do gaming at all. I work with a lot of photos and move huge numbers of files around which can take a while on my current set up. Advice?

Take your laptop to service center and have them do the replacement of ssd to your desired model.

www.xoticpc.com do a good job with customizing laptops. Say something like this https://xoticpc.com/collections/professional-series-laptops/products/msi-wf65-10ti-444 then select Customize, there are about a dozen drives you can select from. If you are moving files to outside the laptop, the speed of the laptop drive becomes a lot less important.
