Can i connect a normal 5m led strip directly to mobo 4 pin?

Hey, I bought a normal 5 m led strip and wondered if I could connect it directly to the mobo led strip 4 pin header without connecting it to the remote receiver?

I think that should work with a normal 12V RGB strip, you should still check the manual though.

It will work unless it needs to be turned on by remote only you can check for yourself
