Can I connect an NVMe to the GA-Z170-D3H (rev. 1.0) ?

This is my 3 old Mobo -

Can I use an NVMe drive?

According to that link and the motherboard manual it does support NVMe.
The M.2 Socket supports both SATA and PCIe (NVMe) x4/x2/x1 type 2242/2260/2280 SSDs.

Yes - the mobo supports an NVMe drive. You'll also need to be using Windows 10. It has the drivers built in for NVMe. Also, when you buy an M.2 form factor drive, make sure it's an NVMe drive. There are also sata drives available that are the M.2 size.
