[SOLVED] can i hook 2 printers to a router with a usb port using a 4 port usb port hub

i don't like a bunch of wires everywhere when im doing printing jobs, any way i can connect my netgear router to muitlple printers using a usb 4 port hub i found on amazon?

This is a very, very specific use case. I don't think a standard router will ever do more than 1 printer at a time, let alone routed through a USB hub. That being said, maybe the router you have (or are planning to get) does support it, but the USB hub might be a problem itself, especially in combination with a router. I've never seen a USB hub work connected to a consumer-grade router..

^What he says. USB ports in a router tend to be LIMITED. Consult the manual, but my bet is, only 1 printer.

Are either of these printers ethernet or WiFi enabled?

Then again, run of the mill 4 - port USB hubs, on Amazon, cost anywhere from $6.99 to just under $20.00--pretty-much nothing in terms of cost.

Why not get a hub and try it to see if it will work in your specific situation?
