Hello I tried overclocking my cpu and ram but it keeps on crashing after a while.

The most stable it runs is on 3.5ghz ryzen 5 1600 and ram trident z rgb at 2666mhz. I'm fine with the ram speed being at 2666mhz but i want my cpu to atleast run at 3.8 or 3.75. Should i increase the voltage? what would be the perfect setting. Please help me out .

If this is your only computer and you cant afford to replace parts, do not try to OC. Note no two cpu's or motherboards are the same so one setting used in a video may not work on your system. But if your really have your heart set on Overclocking i would start with some of these Youtube videos to understand what your doing and changing.

Disclaimer, i don't take any responsibility if you fry or kill something while trying to overclock.

You have an 8-year-old low-end CPU. Overclocking won't improve your performance very much. It's like asking a mechanic guy to tweak your old scooter so you can drive it on the highway: even if he does the best he can it won't help anything.
