Can i play a 1080p hd movie

My laptop resolution is 1024x600 and My Tv supports 1080p. But i dont have an hdmi port on the latop, if i use the usb port and connect it to the Tv with a usb to hdmi cable will i get a 1080p resolution out put on the TV?

If you have HDMI, DVI, DP and VGA output from the laptop, then connect them to the input of the TV. Look up your laptop's spec to find out what you can use to connect to your TV.
