Can I play Fortnite with 4gb RAM?

CPU:AMD FX 6100
GPU:GeForce GT 1030 2GB ( OC )
RAM:4 GB DDR3
Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit

I bought this GPU because i was lagging and i thought it will be good, but im lagging so much (like 1-10 fps sometimes and freezings etc.). Is it caused of my 4 GB RAM or from something else? Should I upgrade my ram?

Hi staurosstoikos,

We can determine what is causing your problem without more info.

What you could do is download MSI afterburner (for monitoring temps, CPU/GPU and ram usage)
Disable V Sync, then launch some game like fornite and after the issue occurs, go to the monitoring and check what's wrong.

IF the ram usage is below 95%, you have to buy another one.

IF the CPU usage is high (at 90-100%) while the GPU usage is below 80% ==> CPU bottleneck and you have to upgrade your CPU.

IF the temps are beyond 90°C-95°C you have to upgrade your cooling capability or reapply thermanl paste or improve case airflow.

Hi,

I have the ASUS GPU Tweak II on my PC that came with my gpu. Should i delete it and download MSI Afterburner because i think they are kinda the same and how can I see my RAM-CPU-GPU usage while playing?

On MSI afterburner, you have "detach" below the cursors.
On ASUS GPU Tweak II you have "monitor" on the bottom left corner.

When you click on it, you have every data you want.

From Msi afterburner I could only see the usage of my gpu, no ram no cpu no everything. Only gpu's
