Can i run BF3 with my non-ti GTX 560?

Hey guys, first post!

I would really liketo know if the following machine could run BF3 at a decent fps at high settings;

FX-4170 overclocked 4.4ghz Quad Core
GeForce GTX 560 (non-ti)
8gb Ram
Gigabyte High Speed Motherboard

All sugestions greatly appreciated! 😀 😀 😀

i plan on playing on low-ish resolution monitor, v-sync and anti-aliasing off on medium, should work hopefully 😀

ive read a lot of reviews etc. and it seem that the settings ill have will still look great!
any idea on fps ? estimates

the 560 will allow high settings on campaign but on multiplayer you will need to drop the quality to keep a 60fps minimum.
i do it with my 5870 i run medium everything apart from textures which i max out.

Problem is your 5870 is a LOT more card than his £75 one....

really i didnt think there was that much difference between em... you have peaked my curiosity so i will have to look that up and get back to you...

Its difficult to compare as most benchmarks drop the previous series...

But the easy way is to go on COST as a general rule...

As an example...my pair of 5870`s ,,,the 2gb versions cost me over £500 each...

Now how do you think they compare to his £75 card....

it may well be a cheap card but that doesnt mean it cant perform. the reason its cheap is it was replaced quickly by the 560ti which is more powerful runs quieter and uses less power... my card cost 300 when i got it at release but the 6870 is about half the price and runs games within 2-4% so price means nothing. especially with the newest cards arriving. dont forget the 5870 is 2 years old the 560 is about a year old.
you can get a 5870 for £155 today so it doesnt surprise me the 560 is going so cheap as it was a £150+ card at its release.

It should be able to run on high, but you *may* have to drop your settings to medium. However, my GTS 450 could run Battlefield 3 at medium settings just fine, so I reckon that the GTX 560 would perform even better... I know that my GTX 570 can run it on ultra, and your card is just one model below that (besides the Ti version).
