Can i set monitor to 75Hz when using DVI cable?

For some reason i get "no signal" when i use hdmi but dvi dual link works well. If im not mistaken 23mp68vq-p clocks itself to 75Hz when freesync is on via hdmi. I have asus gtx 950 so i could only get boost in refresh rate. Should i manualy set 1080p 75Hz? Warranty doesn't cover that, right?

Edit: I fixed the problem (more about that in my first post) but the question still remains.

You should be able to get 75 Hz if the monitor supports Dual-Link signals, but that's up to the monitor manufacturer and isn't typically specified, so there's really no way to know. If it doesn't, it'll be limited to 60 Hz.
