Question Can i take an SSD out of a Windows 11 pc and place it in a windows 10 pc and use it as my main?

I have 2 pc's, one with WIN 11 and 1 with WIN10 Pro,
can I just take out my win 11 ssd and put it in the win 10 pro pc and use as main?

Is your windows 10 pc compatible with windows 11?
Probably not.

If it is compatible, then just upgrade windows 10 to windows 11.

The OS that is on it?! Maybe, maybe with issues, maybe not at all.

Moving a drive+OS from one system to another has 3 possible outcomes:

1. It works just fine
2. It fails completely
3. It "works", but you're chasing issues for weeks/months.

I've personally had all 3.

The physical drive is no problem.
Booting up with the alien OS...possible problem.

Gonna take the SSD with WIN 11 out of an Intel Cpu'd PC and place it in an AMD Cpu Pc which has win10 pro on it.
