Lenovo ideapad 310 15ISK(80SM) - i7 versionwhat is exact model of laptop
I think the one i saw yesterday while searching was 30 pin display..and apparently mine is same tooGenerally, you can upgrade laptop screens if they are:
a) of the exact same dimensions
b) have the exact same connectors and pinout
c) can be supported by your GPU.
Some laptop models cannot be upgraded due to form factor so keep that in mind.
i cant do it as my laptop display is broke, and i dont have monitor too....https://www.groovypost.com/howto/find-advanced-display-information-monitor-windows-10/
check if you see panel information, what is exact model
i might find it on lenovo's website, ill checkDepends on the cable (cable from motherboard to your LCD), is there part number for it?
5C10L35864 FRUDepends on the cable (cable from motherboard to your LCD), is there part number for it?
while searching if my cable is 1 lane or 2 lane i found out this websiteYou need 2 lane EDP cable for 1080p lcd screen to work, there is alot of models to choose from with same connector this is the only issue. Could you take pic of the cable where it says this info?
thanks for help ill try and update youYou shop in ebay or where usually? There is tons of models to choose from. I would myself just order the monitor first and test it with this cable. Looks like it works more than likely.
I found your cable ( same model number) pulled out of Lenovo 310-15iKB https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lenovo-310-15iKB-LCD-Display-Video-Cable-5C10L35864-/283632521105
And following this thread seems like 310-15iKB is upgradable to 1080p panels with the same cable : https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo...from-Hd-to-Fhd-ideapad-310-15isk/td-p/4091260
