I have an older PC with an i5 and am trying to play fortnight and maybe some other games.

It currently has a Intel HD 2500 card and I can't run fortnite with anything under HD 4000.

Can I upgrade the card to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660? Or NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 VERTO 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0?
What card do you recommend in this price range that I can upgrade too?

Sorry I have very basic knowledge and as much as I try to help myself sometimes I get lost. Thank you!

Where are you located and whats your price range?

Also another limiting factor will be your computer power supply. If this is a pre-built such as a Dell or HP please list the model number. If you are unsure of that or cant find , open up you computer case and look for the power supply and see what it says on the label.

I'm located in the United States and range is around 60-100$

It is a prebuilt Gateway computer. I will try to find the power supply for you.

I found that your PC has a 300 watt PSU, which isnt really great news and limits what cards you can run. Im having trouble find if you can actually upgrade the PSU so I wont comment on that.

I will say you could get a low power card such as a GTX 750ti or something more recent a GTX 1050ti (as long as it doesn't require a 6pin power connector) like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-1050-TI-SC-Gaming-4GB-GDDR5-Graphics-Card/233489846919?epid=20003297363&hash=item365d145287:g:7Q0AAOSwm6xeP1~N

That's just one example I found randomly. Basically just make sure the card doesn't have one of these as I'm not sure if your PSU has a pcie power cable and I would also apprehensive using anything that draws more power with a 300watt PSU.

Okay thank you very much all of that was very helpful. I will open up my case and check the PSU out. I'm trying to understand all this, it seems fairly straight forward but I know this is an old machine. I may just stick to Xbox haha
