Can I use AMD's Turbo feature with the stock cooler?

Hello,

I was wondering if I could use AMD's Turbo feature with the stock cooler.

My CPU is AMD FX 8320 @ 3.5 Ghz
Turbo 4.0 Ghz

Can I use turbo with stock cooler? And if I can, how do I do it?

Yes you can.

It should be enabled by default. If not, you enter the BIOS, go into advanced options and it should be right there in front of you.

From what I know it is better to go with an aftermarket cooler if you take your processor beyond its call of duty 🙂
