[SOLVED] Can I use i5 6600k on b150m motherboard?

Solution
Hello,
I want to buy i5 6600k, but I'm worried if my motherboard can handle it...
My motherboard is MSI B150M Bazooka.
Now on he CPU support page of the motherboard, it says that i5 6600k is supported, but how it can be supported if that motherboard only has 4PIN CPU connector, and this processor has 91W of power. Will I be facing any troubles?

A "B" board won't allow overclocking. Will that motherboard run hot with that CPU? Probably. Will you have more problems if you use an AIO cooler? Probably.

My i7-4790k works just fine with a single 4pin CPU power, and they have very similar TDP and power draw.

What do you mean I will have more problems if I use an AIO cooler ? I don't plan overclocking until I buy a new Motherboard, but still I'm worried

What motherboard do you have? Is it also "budget" like mine 🤣
It's a Dell Optiplex 9020mt, so the motherboard is a Dell 0PC5F7.

I mean that an AIO cooler does not move air over that power infrastructure on the motherboard. An air cooler with fans on the CPU will cool the voltage regulators. An AIO does not.
Ok, thanks. I am using an air cooler so I just hope it will work fine until I buy a new motherboard.
