The latest BIOS update for my motherboard says it adds NVMe support. It has an M.2 slot, but the specifications for the motherboard don't mention NVMe. Does that mean the update allows me to use an NVMe SSD in that built-in slot, or only that if I were to use a PCIe-to-NVMe add-on card that I'd be able to boot to an NVMe drive plugged into that?
The motherboard is an ASRock 990FX Killer.
