Can my PC sit on the floor ?

Hi,

I'm building my PC and I found out that the case was way too high (but especially wide inside) and it can't fit in my desk. I'm wondering if the case can sits on the floor...

The floor is made of hardwood in the basement. It is very clean and spacious.

The only downside to have in on the floor is that it tend to accumulate dust a bit quicker, even more so if you have pets.
