Can not load some web pages

I have a friend running IE 6 & he can load many different web sites, but not
others, some
he has went to many times, & no not porno or other types. Could someone
explain what
may be going on.

Your friend's computer is most likely infected with a hijacker trojan,
that symptom is only one of many symptoms hijackers create.
To clean the computer from all type of parasites, install at least the
first two of the following programs and apply the next suggestions

a) Delete all cookies and temporary internet files grequently using the
Internet Options buttons in the General tab.

b) Enable the Internet Connection Firewall or install a third party Firewall
like Zone Alarm or Sygate Personal Firewall

c) Update the system with at least the Critical Security Updates and Service
Packs.
