[SOLVED] Can old Gen cpu's be used on b550m Asus tuf gaming

I want to get asus tuf b550m gaming plus with ryzen 5 2600 will i be able to use it without any problem because on some site some people have mentioned that they are using 2600 without any issues but according to asus cpu support list it isn't supported.

X570 does but official support from B550 afaik isn't according to Amd.

Might be different story from particular partners though. Maybe contact Asus to confirm.
