[SOLVED] Can someone help me shop for screws that are 0.35 cm in diameter? (to fit a hole that is 3.5mm)

Hello all,

The 4 holes that I am trying to mount screws in are 0.35cm in diameter which I think equates to 3.5mm

If you can, please help me find one with a large head. And length(from the head to the tip of the screw) of less than 0.5 inches

That is an unusual size.
Generally, 3mm or 4mm.

I measured it with a ruler on the cm side.

You measured the hole?

So, the inside diameter.
mm bolts are measured at the thread...the outside diameter.
So this is almost certainly for a 4mm bolt.

But, buy a kit like this, and you'll have no worries.

Yeah, the holes are closer to 4mm than 3mm. However, I dont want to buy a whole kit (otherwise I wouldnt ask for help here). Just help me shop for my specific screw size and I can just buy a bag of those exact sizes, please. Thank you.

Go to your local hardware store.
Buy 4x 3mm bolts, and 4x 4mm bolts.

Use whichever one fits.
You'll have spent an extra $1.50.

Or a 4mm set like this:

Bottom line, they are almost certainly 4mm. Length and head type..whatever you need.

I dont think I am going to get that Amazon screws because there to no place for the screw driver to screw it in.
Also, are you SURE that there are NO 3.5mm screws in the marketplace in existence?

Those ones I linked are meant to be screwed in by hand. Hence the knurling, to get a good grip.

Most cases have a box of extra screws that come with it, did you check what you have for the case in the box it came in?
