I currently only have one 8pin to 2*6+2pin (daisy chain) cable running to the "4+4 CPU" slot for my 6700XT GPU, which takes one 8pin and one 6pin to power. I am aware that I mustn't use the daisy chain cable to power both slots, and I am not too knowledgeable in power supplies and cables.
My question is: can I buy a compatible 8pin cable to either 6 or 8pin to fully power my GPU and can it still connect to my PSU via the other "6+2 PCI-E" slot?
Thank you.
(I don't know if I have to state this, but I have run into issues where my computer would suddenly shut down when playing more demanding games with the aforementioned use of the daisy chain cable, and I know it's not the other components causing the trouble).
