Definitely very very expensive, but you are not paying for the outdated hardware. Take a look at the pictures in their gallery and you would see your paying for all the detail and time it takes to design these setups. Still I would never pay this much just for looks. I just buy an Antec 900 Two. Looks perfect for me. 😀

Did you know that Porsche sells a watch for $150,000? A wristwatch. And no, it doesn't come with a car. So if you are going to buy that watch, that tells the time just as well as a $20 Timex, why wouldn't that same person buy a $20k Murderbox versus a $3k Cyberpower? Or what about the $10,000 cell phone that Paris Hilton trotted around with (and most likely lost at one of her famous drug parties with Lindsey Lohan...)Or what about the $1,000,000 cars? $30,000,000 house? If you can afford those, why would you buy a cheap ass Dell? If you have a personal chef and barber, why would you build a computer yourself? I know, rhetorical questions, all of them. Point being that some people believe that price=the absolute best there is.

I applaud this guy for doing this. He identified that there are people with a helluva lot more money than sense and decided to take advantage of it. I am kicking myself for not thinking of it myself. He probably does use the absolute best components available, and why shouldn't he? When it is all said and done, he is still probably clearing $5k in profit per box he builds.

Well played sir, well played.

It says:-

One of the many gallery images shows the aforementioned

Which implies that their are many others and if you got off your lazy ass and looked at the site you may just see other builds with higher spec parts.

[citation][nom]Ea0[/nom]Dude, I'll make that murders company look like little kids who are super happy they just got their first comptia a+ certification . For $10,500 I'll include😀ual cpu Six core xeon over clocked to 4ghz, 12 cores, 24 threads, full sized water-cooler system for CPUs and 4 video cards. Quad gtx 580 evga water blocked in sli. 16gb of some fast 2000mhz ddr3' low timings for 2000mhz. thats 8gb per cpu! Three intel 510 series in raid 0, starting at 500 mb read/ 210 write without raid! 360gb in ssd's. 3x1tb hard drive 7200rpm 64mb cache sataIII in raid 2 for storage and reliability. Big good quality case, with wire management, and a clean water-cooling set up. Blue ray player. Another normal cd rom. Wireless network card, wired gaming network card, top of the sound card with front panel controls. An entire library of some sweet games, like 18 games, including crysis 2, bulletstorm, Starcraft 2. By no means would you ever need a system like this to run these games, this is just a price comparison. Windows seven ultimate 64bit. Full manufacture warranty ranging from 1-3 years. All this system will be good for by the way. Lol. Three way 24inch monitors 2ms. 1500 watt psu 80 plus certified. Gaming keyboard with tiny high def screen on it. Gaming mouse from razor. Nice speakers with big sub, Hard drive cooler, dual socket 1136 evga classified. You send me a check and I will purchase this, and build it for you and install all the games and os, the complete set up and ship. Labor costs, $150.I can do 8 hr a day customer service as well for all sales, bahaha. I think I just ran the murders out of business!!! I mean, I cut off there air supply. The murders are just as bad as Microsoft trying to sell a $10k system in their store with a single six core intel, two video cards that were like 200 series nvidia, water cooler, no ssd, some bizare custom case. With a box 360 taken out of the original case with a water cooling system on it, all for $10k. Xbox360, $200' xbox360 water cooler, $300. I'd say like $3-4k max for it.but they wanted $10k. I recommend Do your research before you buy anything.[/citation]
+1

Yep, with most all the posts after mine, again I have to say

Stupid clueless people. Really, educate yourselves before posting. He is well respective over on XS and a couple other places and a lot of them play with kits most of you will never see till it hits the bargain bin.

If you don't understand the demographics this is for that's your problem.

We do understand, if you have that kind of money floating around you are usually too busy to build it yourself.

Some people pay for builders on their house when DIY is cheaper, but people don't want to spend their spare time getting dirty they want to spend it having fun and relaxing.

Is it worth and extra 10 grand for the extra relax time? That is an entirely subjective question that can only be asked to people who have that amount of money.

get a clue and a life...

i paid 500 bucks to up to a 6970, and new psu, no reason. i could play crysis 2 on my old 4850. bummer is, the only game i wanna play is skyrim, and they already say that 90% of their audience is on xbox 360. heres hoping they treat us better than crytek. i think this article is bait, and i fell for it.

Even filthy rich people wouldn't waste their money on this. Usually spend money on their geek friend to spec em out properly. This must apply to stupid, filthy rich, extremely isolated people.

The name fits: you will probably want to off yourself after paying $6k for something that would've cost you less than $2k to build yourself...

I had to check the date on the article to make sure it wasn't re-posted on accident... something to make some sense at all.

A rig for fools with too much cash and GTX 285, that card is DX10 and outdated. Just sold one and bought a GTX 560Ti, ran benchmarks myself and the 560 wins easily hands down and the 560 is a budget buy.

And a GOOD RAID controller could set you back more than 1k... You know, if you are looking to get the most out of your SSDs... And a fiber server NIC could cost 400-1500 dollars...

Wow, with 2x GTX 285's in SLI... It's already out of date... With new technology coming out as fast as it does, it just doesn't make any sense to go all out on a system in todays market...

Of course it's out of date, it was build 2 years ago...

[citation][nom]mauskau[/nom]I know the guy (through forums we both frequent) that started this company after he received great feedback from people that saw his own machine. He will tell you straight out that this is not a machine for people like those of us that know how to build their own, and it is not for people that would be attracted to Alienware or others with big, flashy lights and things. He said it was more about a high end PC that has high end looks that are classy and clean without all of the glowing plastic crap detracting from it, or something along those lines. He markets more like a boutique store to people with money that want a good looking machine. And at least the last time I had inquired about it, the pricing includes someone flying out to your home with the computer and installing it for you. Again, not something I would ever buy, and not something that most of you would ever buy, because we have the skillset to build our own and select our own parts, and most of us value function over form. But you probably know someone who likes to own pretty things that has more money than skill, and to someone like that, this might be just what they are looking for. In any case, he is doing a decent enough business he had to hire another worker recently, and he wasn't far off from being able to quit his day job. Can you blame a guy from filling a niche in the market that also allows him to do something he enjoys doing? I know I can't. I just wish I had enough patience to do my installs as clean as on the murderbox[/citation]

I still think it is a rip off, but the same can be said for a lot of luxuries.

However, I agree with what you say. Kudos to him and I hope it works out for him.
