Can these specs do it?

Hello, I am looking to get my first gaming pc and I am trying to find out if these specs are good for gaming i.e able to run games such as Shogun 2 total war and the upcoming rome 2 total war on high settings

Specs:

3.6 GHz AMD FX4100 4-core CPU
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Motherboard
XFX Radeon HD 7750 2gb
8gb Transcend 1333 Mhz RAM
500gb SATA III Hard Drive
Xigmatek 500W PSU
Windows 7(I prefer this to Windows 8)

Can this pc handle the above games (shogun 2 and other total war games).Help would be highly appreciated!

I've never played those games. I would upgrade to a 7850, but at that point, you might need a little bit of a larger PSU. I would upgrade to this to just be safe. I know it's a big money change, but it would be worth it and you wouldn't have to upgrade for a little while.

I have the 7850 and I can run all games on ultra without a problem!

Thanks for the quick reply.I am limited to a budget of 650-700euro.So do you think I should stay with 7750 and if so do you know if the 7750 can run your games as this is my first time buying a gaming computer and I need all the help I can get.

Depends what resolutions you want to play at. The 7750 will struggle at 1080p running very high quality. Try going for at least a 7770 or even better a 7850. Do you need a screen and OS included in your budget?

What jay_d said. No doubt it will run the games! Trust me on that, but not at ultra/max resolution. If you're looking to have amazing quality and no lag, hit up the 7850 IMO.

I plan on running the games at just high settings.Yes, the screen I have is the Samsung SyncMaster S22B150N LED 21.5" 1920X1080 and OS have to be included in my budget.
