I was going to build a PC with 4090 card but I am going for 1440p 240hz monitor. After getting lots of feedback I am questioning if I should invest in 4090 now or just get 4070ti and upgrade to better card when 5000 series launches. Right now I am interested in playing games like valorant, rdr2, spider-man, metro, dying light, cyberpunk etc, Video and 3D editing. Should I invest in better parts now except GPU and upgrade GPU with 5k series launch or just build 4090 build?

4070ti + 5000 series card (-4070ti resell used) is unlikely to offer better value for money than just a 4090.
5000 series card: unknown specs, pricing, availability and date (but release shenanigans almost guaranteed).
Buy the card you want (if it's in budget) today and, when it no longer meets your needs, look at your upgrade options then.

I would suggest a mobo with better VRMs. the Pro RS has 14 phase but i think 60A caps. A beefy VRM is crucial when you have 250W sustained load in your video editing tasks.

the MSI Pro A with 16 phases and 80A caps is a better choice.

Other alternatives:

MSI Tomahawk, Gigabyte Aorus Elite, Asrock Riptide to name a few.
