[SOLVED] Can we connect GPU Display Port v1.4 output to monitor Display Port v1.2 input

Hello guys, I hope everyone is healthy. After a while, I am getting a new monitor for my PC, while checking through the specifications I got a bit confused. My GPU MSI RTX 2060 Super Gaming X has Display Port v1.4 output and the new monitor that I am getting MSI Optix G241 has Display Port v1.2a. Can I connect GPU and monitor with this cable, will it create any problem if GPU DPv1.4 output is connected to monitor DPv1.2a input.
