Question Can we use amd freesync monitors with nvidia gpu? Acer VG271U model

this is the specified monitor. Its Amd Freesync technology monitor & i have nvidia gpu which means i need gsync monitor as per my view. But, recently nvidia releasing some amd freesync monitor models which we can use them with gsync, the above monitor isn't in list [gsync compatible list].
so, the question is im i able to use this monitor with my nvidia gpu? if i cant, then i will face screen tearing issues in games ?

As of 2019, Nvidia have announced that their GTX1000 series and latter will support Freesync monitors.

I have 1070.
I saw that Nvidia listed some models like nearly 20 monitors which supports gsync compatibility...

Are you sure that all freesync monitors can be used with gtx1000 series or later ?
Can u link any specific nvidia post

My monitor is not listed as fressync compatible but it works just fine. Simply go in to nvidia control panel and enable the gsync settings and try it out. Just remember to enable freesync on your monitor first. It took me 1 hour to find out I had not done this before trying to enable it.
