Hi all,
I'm picking parts for my new build and there's a good deal on the motherboard I want (B550M Steel Legend). The case I have my eye on (Deepcool CL500) has a front panel type C which only the full ATX B550 version of the motherboard has a header for. I prefer pretty much everything else about the mATX board (better rear IO, looks a bit nicer, cheaper by about $40) and I don't really mind about only getting 5Gb/s speeds on that front type C as I don't have any type C devices that would benefit from 10Gb/s at the moment. The B550M has 2 USB3 headers so I'd have one going spare. If there's an adapter I can get to connect them up, there's no real reason that I can see to go with the B550 ATX version.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
