Nope, your laptop doesn't have the integrated GPU CPU's, so you will need the GT 9600m.

One question, why are you asking this? You cannot remove your GPU from the laptop

Yes my video card is removal It is the Acer Aspire 8730 Laptop. And the video card is bad!

Unfortunately, this is the first time I've heard about it, so I doubt there will be another card for you to exchange with.

You don't have integrated GPU, so you will have to depend on the 9600m.

Best thing to do is to get it serviced 😉

Well I have a new one coming in 5 to 7 days $99.00 for it.

If you look at the motherboard you will see I am R 😀

Motherboard is a Aspire 8730/8730G/8730Z Series. Model M52255
And the Video card is a NVIDIA Geforce VG.9PG06.009

You are R I did not But if you look at my post you will see that I'm telling about my video card not the GPU!!!...

the Motherboard thas a bad video card and I was trying ti see if it would still work with out it on the board?

You are correct skip !!! Video card is removable via 6 screws. Remove top 4 first lift up on the heatsink and then the final two and wiggle card out. (easy to do)

I am looking for the same card for the 2 - 8730G's on my workbench and both cards have fried chips on them - they are actually burnt. One of them still works, but its probably only a matter of time before it fails also.

The reason i contact you is to find out where you sourced them as I can only find them from alibaba doing a google search and everything is over a $100 even from china.
