Can you wire a wall device into a PSU?

I recently moved an original Xbox into an old PC case (from 1998). Right now I have the PC PSU left in the case to run extra fans for more airflow, but I was wondering can I plug wire in the Xbox power cord into a Molex or the Motherboard plug (the PSU is a 20 pin)?.

I'm not trying to skip the Xbox PSU at all, I just want to take it's wall plug (positive and negative prongs) and try to run them through the PC PSU so I only have to plug in one plug into the wall socket. Would this be easy to accomplish?

No. A PSU needs 120V AC. and a Molex connector is only 5 or 12V DC.

It's all DC. That's what a PSU does, convert AC power to DC.

Ok. Thanks everyone, I'll either stick with the two power cords or put a strip inside and run a single wire out.

I am reminded though that we used to have a pass-through plug on some PCs for the monitor... that must have been 15 or 20 years ago. So you could plug your monitor into the back of the desktop box.
