my wireless internet connection keeps dropping after less than thirty seconds.

this allows me enough time to load one to three pages, tops. if i keep disconnecting and reconnecting to the network, i have no problem accessing pages but ... well, it's frankly no fun at all. i've been plugging away at this for more than hour now though, and i'm prepared to throw my hands in the air and let someone else take a stab at fixing my problems for me.

my hardware is working fine. i can connect to other wireless networks, no problem.

the router is working fine. my roommate can connect with no problems on his laptop.

i have all my windows firewall and eset anti-virus software disabled.

running the network diagnostic tool through internet explorer gets me reconnected to the internet, but again, the connection only lasts for about all of thirty seconds. this is the logfile --
