Can't burn onto flash drive

Hello,
I have an mp3 player for my car that I've never used before but have had for a while. I decided that I would use it but can't get music to copy from cd to flash drive. I thought it would be as easy as dragging it to flash. The cds that I want to copy are ones that I just bought. Please help.

Try formatting the flash drive

You can't just copy the files on the CDs to the player, you have to first convert them to MP3 files. I like using CDex for that, but Windows Media Player can do the job aslo, just not with as good a quality.
