Hello all,

The other day I needed to change my mac address so I used this program: http://goo.gl/uCePP

It worked great, exactly as I expected and it changed my mac address successfully. I then used the same program to change my mac address back to the original address. But today when I went to change my mac again it wouldn't work. I would type in the mac address that I want and change it and the program would tell me that I had successfully changed my mac address but when I go to check to see if it had worked, I still had my original mac address from before.

Why did it work the other day and not now? How can I change my mac again?

I tried running the program as administrator and in win xp compatibility mode but it did not work. I also tried using SMAC to change my mac address but that did not work either. What is going on?

I don't think you need a program to do it. As far as I know double click on your network card in device manager, then go to the advanced tab and scroll to the network address property and set the MAC there. I know it says network address, but that address is not the IP its the MAC.

Yes, I meant spoofing. How can I view my spoofed address?
Just for kicks I tried connecting to the network that has a mac filtering list with a spoofed mac address that is allowed to connect and it worked. So that tells me that the program must have been successful at spoofing my mac address but it didn't tell my new, spoofed, mac address.

What gives here?

I tried connecting to the network anyway with the mac filtering list and it worked. So apparently it was able to spoof the mac address but it just didn't show that. I don't know why.
