[SOLVED] Can't connect PC to monitor

I just got my home-built computer all built but when I turn it on it turns on but it won't connect to the monitor. I have a DP cord connecting to the monitor from my GPU
Components are:
CPU: I7-9700K
GPU: Zotak 2060 RTX SUper 8bg mini
Motherboard: ASRock Z390 Pro4
I believe these are the main ones for Display

are you sure that your graphics card power cables are all plugged in, and that the graphics card itself is installed correctly? you may need to reseat it

I tried reinstalling the Graphics card and it didn't do anything, is there any other reason why then?

maybe a bad dp cable
