Can't connect to internet on new PC

I am using Acer Aspire M5621, It does not have a wireless card. My aunts computer is currently using the modem. So, do I need to buy another Bell Modem, and will I be able to connect via that? Or do I buy one of those wireless cards or external wireless things you put in the USB port.

I am trying to connect, but also have the best speed I can get.

Is it a modem/router? Or just the modem? If its not a router then you should buy a wireless router. You can connect to it with a ethernet cable or wifi card if you buy one also.

modem ---->router----->pc's
