Hey there. I can't get this ram to run at 3200mhz, or actually anything above 2133, using XMP profiles. I've gone into the BIOS and tried to set it to 3200mhz through XMP profile, but it still shows in the bios as running at 2133, and 1066 in CPU-Z

I was able to go under the deeper overclocking settings and set the main speed and all of the timings manually, not that I really understand it: I only set down to tras, the rest were set automatically after a reboot. Both CPU-Z and the bios then showed that it's running at the correct speed, although CPU-Z was showing crazy latency timings, and ultimately the system was unstable (BSODs), so I had to take it back to stock.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Did you try both profiles? If I remember correctly (been over a year since I set up my current rig), I had trouble with Profile 1, but no problems with Profile 2.

System specs are below. As you can see, I'm also using the MSI B450-A Pro motherboard and G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

I did, unfortunately neither worked. Someone on LTT, though, mentioned that Zen+ technically only supports 2933 so I'll see if I can at least get that working and then maybe I just need to wait until I upgrade to a Zen 2 or better CPU (which shouldn't be too long)
