Question can't hear headset volume

it started with a low microphone level then i asked some questions then downloaded the realtek driver and since then i can't hear any sound and i can't find realtek files anywhere. i am installing the drivers again but it is going at 100kbs for some reason and it will take 45mins for about 300mb. is that normal am i doing something wrong or should i try something else

Need a lot more information for the issue. What model headset, what model computer? Did you check that volume level is normal in Windows and the application you are using? You said you "downloaded" the drivers, did you actually run the setup for the drivers and did they install? Is the sound card showing up in Device Manager as the correct model with no errors? You have the headset plugged into the right ports? Using any sort of adapters, etc...? Need full details of the issue.
