can't right click on ANY files .... pleas help !!!

I can't right click on any files, it just hangs, and after a minute the computer is responding again but no right click dialog opens.

I checked all the file types, all the drives, it's the same thing

I've checked with MCafee, up to date, no virus. I checked with spybot, up to date too, nothing.

I checked what programs I am running, nothing special in the task manager.

I checked rebooting, many times, it didn't work.

I checked system restore it says I don't have enough free space, wich is false.

please help, I'm desperate...

Are you sure that you are using the right mouse button and not the left mouse button? 🙂

i recommend downloaded Pest Patrol and running it and see if it finds any sick spyware or adaware ......... other then that... reinstall mouse

also, change the MOUSE icons... maybe this will refresh or reload something that you need... just some ideas.

Also... CLick the button on your KEYBOARD that corresponds to the mouse button.. which is located near your arrow keys.. next to CTRL.. it should be Between the windows Start Key and CTRL on the right side of the space bar... click on a FOlder or something and click that button just to make sure it even works on the keyboard.

I'd be caucious about Pest Patrol's Free Scan - I'm running into a lot of people reporting "false positives" as a sales technique on other forums. I don't trust Pest Patrol anymore.

As for the mouse - I'd uninstall it and reinstall - to get a fresh driver.

well i look to see what im removing before i actually remove it #1...lol #2 some people are just stupid and don't leave the scan settings to default and have it scan everything.....it tells you before you make a change that it WILL show up with some Critical Windows Files...


the program works mint, just the idiots working it have the problems..

just download lavasoft adaware free version, scan your comp with that and remove all the spyware that you find, then get firefox 😛
