My old Windows 7 laptop got really slow for some unknown reason I tried checking for disk problem but still did not fix it.
Then I Installed a new Windows 7 on my laptop through an usb
I installed all the driver from the official manufacturer website and when I try to update it , It says
Windows Could Not Search for A new update
an error occured while checking for new updates for your computer
error code 8024402F
And when I was using the laptop today a weird blue screen happened something about system memory dump
I tried reinstalling again
Still did not fixed it
My Laptop is Acer Aspire V3-471G

Updating of windows 7 after clean install is real pain <mod edit>. Windows update is broken initially.
1. Install Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup
https://www.howtogeek.com/255435/ho...l-at-once-with-microsofts-convenience-rollup/
2. Install hotfixes listed here manually (stop windows update service before installing) :
http://wu.krelay.de/en/2016-07.htm

Only after this you will be able to normally launch windows update and update windows.
I'll try this later
Right now my laptop is doing a chkdsk to fix the corrupted files
Might aswell upgrade to windows 8.1

Going to 8 from 7 is not what I would call an upgrade, 10 would be a good change. 7 to 8 is like going from a working 10 yr old Toyota to a new broken Masarati. Sure it tries to be fancier but it will sit in your driveway and leak oil all over the place while the Toyota will actually get you somewhere.
