Can't view movie files in Media Player from web links.

All of a sudden I cannot view any movie files when I click
on any video/movie link on any webpage. The page, instead
of loading to Media Player, goes directly to a "The page
cannot be displayed" page. I can copy the shortcut and
enter it directly into MP, but that is a hassle. Ad-
aware, Spybot, Pest Patrol, etc., have all been run. Can
anyone help??
