here is my system:

Abit AB9-Pro
EVGA 8800gts 320MB 576mhz
Corsair 2GB XMS2 DDR2 675 PC2 5400 (will run @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2-2.1v)
Intel E6300 (being oc'ed to about 2.8-3ghz)

extra crap:

Thermaltake Purepower 600w

any recommendations for cheap case fans...and would i need a cpu fan??

always a plus if its green LED =)

i know absolutly nothing about whether or not fans and junk are needed so any help is really appreciated!

um... yes you need a cpu fan  . I think, well hope, you mean an aftermarket one. I'm not for sure on the OC limit of the stock fan, but a better one won't hurt. Someone with OC'ing exp will recommend one. (Mine is set up for non-OC quiet)
As far as case fans, which case will you be using? A couple of good brands are Scythe and Arctic Cooling.
