wish to restrict/block internet use at night, one of my children doesn't understand proper bedtime! As I am a shift worker I am not always at home.

Most routers have the ability to restrict usage times based on a schedule. What brand and model is your router?

Once you set that, make sure to change the router ID and password from the default settings so they cannot get around your efforts.
