Hello. Somehow my cd & dvd drivers have been disabled. If I go into My
Computer it does not show either drive. When in device manager it shows both
cd & dvd drive with a yellow ! & in properties it says "A driver (service)
for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this
functionality. (Code
32)" I have tried unistalling but when I restart it is
still listed in the device manager as if I never unistalled it.
help me please i do not know what else to do.
i have windows vista and i have WMP and Itunes.
not sure if you needed to now that or no but just in case

have you checked with some other PC..

CD/DVD drive drivers are packed with windows, so it will install it automatically if they are not installed..

have you installed any cd/dvd burning or disk cloning or virtual drive or any related software recently ...
